  • Sometimes it’s about needing a safe space to talk where someone is non-judgemental and on your side. Sometimes we discuss big, serious things, sometimes the everyday hassles of life.

  • Why not make your mind a good space to be? Feel more in control of your emotions and your life story. At the end of the day, our minds are the most important part of our bodies yet we often don’t prioritise taking care of them. Therapy is self-care for your mind.

  • Therapy can be challenging, but also rewarding as your own life and behaviour suddenly become easier to understand. You deserve a good life, full of more joyous moments and less suffering.

  • I use psychotherapy, sometimes known as ‘talk therapy to treat a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, bipolar, and addiction, or to explore something a person wants to understand about their identity, such as their sexuality and/or gender, relationship or family issues, and stress related to everyday life. We do this through weekly or bi-weekly sessions of 50 minutes where we get to know each other and someone has the space to talk about anything they would like, and I provide insight when appropriate based on patterns I may be observing in what they are saying. I only work long-term, meaning six months or more.

  • In relationship therapy, I sit down with two or more people who are in an intimate relationship. I may at times see individuals alone, but generally, I see everyone together and we talk about what has brought them to therapy, and what they may be looking for help with. This happens every two weeks, for as long as we are able to keep meeting as we unpack everyone’s different dynamics and histories that may be influencing the relationship(s). I am a kink, BDSM, and poly-affirming therapist, and all practices are welcome in my therapy room.

  • When I see a family, I try and see all the relevant members together in my room. The family may be there for something specific, or they may be looking to enhance communication, build harmony and strengthen trust within the family. This generally takes place initially every two weeks, and after some time may switch to monthly sessions.

  • Using a combination of history taking , diagnostic interviewing and collateral information, I can discuss the possibility of whether you may meet the criteria for either ADHD and/or Autism. I use three sessions and following these I will give you a full diagnostic report.
